  • “is it better for others to fade away rather than you?”
  • “who do you prioritize - yourself or others?”

• what would be taken or given?

  • names → inspired from Mexican culture where you die twice ⇒ the second time being when people stop saying your name
  • true names → a legend that everyone has a true name; names give you power over others

  ⇒ maybe give the true name in order to free them, take away the true name for power?

• How would you stimulate the player to action?

  • NPCs with different stories → you are the judge, jury, and the executioner
  • creating moral conflicts → robbin hood; the train conflict, etc.

• why do you need this essence?

The metaphor of the game:

• the metaphor of reflection → with twine prototype

How do we get the metaphor across?

• debate with yourself → put yourself in that scenario → what would you really do?
• imagining the situation → simulating events
• image projection
• showing your true self → mirror
