During this week we had to present our game ideas and people would choose one game idea out of 3 that they would like to see developed further. I am very happy my peers chose the idea I also liked the best: The Guardian of Limbo. Below are some of the comments my classmates made regarding my game ideas. I was happy to get their feedback and see how others think of my game ideas.

Later after the presentations, while everything was still fresh the class started to divide into groups. I was thinking of leaving my ideas and joining someone else, the reason being that even if I liked my idea I was not sure if I was passionate about it. There was something in the idea that made me unsure, but then my classmate Patrick asked to join. I had no good reason to say “no” even if I was doubting my game and I was very happy someone wanted to join me. It felt that what maybe I needed was a teammate to help me push the game to its best and help me develop it.

Week 10 Reflection

My reflection for this week is about my decision to stick with my idea and try out as a team leader again. Even if I had personal fears about my resolve in proceeding with my game I decided to push through. I feel that maybe a big part of my doubts is the fact that I feel really burned out, with constantly reading and researching and thinking. Because of that I will take a break for this week and see how it affects me.
